BIBLE READING: Revelation 2:29
Knowing that we are now living in the end times ("Matthew 24"), we believe that He is already at the door. The coming of Jesus is at hand, and we cannot stop everything of Him from coming. The question is, "Are we prepared for that time to happen?" I guess it is now on each of our part to answer that question. I believe that we can evaluate on when are we now of the spiritual things. Are the things we did daily will help us grow spiritually and maturely before God? How constantly we do our prayers? How often have we meditated on our Lord? Are we spending time for Him daily or we are just remembering Him we are in trouble, when we feel sorrow and distress, when we lack of wisdom, when we need Him to cleanse our sins. Are we making the "Mighty and Supreme God" our personal janitor for our sins? We'll then brothers and sisters we will meditate on these things, i know that we proclaim that we are a "Christian" but does that label truly implies to our life according to what is seen by many witnessess (people)?
Does the things mentioned above connected to the given verse? Yes it is! I am refering to our closeness to God, I am telling you that, is our relationship to God of that close. Communication is one of the key in a relationship, we cannot have a fruitful and successful relationship if we don't have communication. Hearing is one of the factor of communication, when He is speaking you will listen, and when you are speaking He will also listen. God speaks to the people He want to use, He is speaking in the midst of the church by using the teachers or pastors "Ephesians 4:11-16" in every churches. Do we have an ear to listen to the things that is being spoken according to the Spirit? I am not talking about our natural ears, but are we using those ears to listen as to what the Spirit really implies on that gathering? Are we just going in and out to the church? Are we just writing things not related to the subject being discussed? Brethren let us not be deceived of what are the things is giving on us, that can hinder our relationship to God.
Be sober and vigilant on the things that are happening around you. You might not know that one of these days He will come or this very day, for we do not know when is the time He will come. The most important thing is, we will just prepare everything, ask God that He will help you on the things that can hinder your relationship to Him. Pray always with a humble heart and He will hear you. God is not ignoring us, He is just waiting for us to come to Him and "now is the time"
