Regarding the Poll Seeking Speaker Reimbursement for the 2019 BOINC Workshop - Thank you!

I just want to say thank you for putting this poll together.

I think I can speak for fkinglag and loadedanvils here as well, and they'll correct me if I'm misrepresenting their views, but we went out there because it was something we all wanted to do. We did not expect to be reimbursed.

For me, the flight, the 5 nights at an airbnb, and food cost around 1,000 USD. I'm not sure what lag+anvil's expenses were, but Chicago ain't cheap = ).

Seeing the community put forward an initiative to pay us some of this back is... it's just a good feeling. It's inspiring.

Reimbursement or not, the trip and workshop was worth every penny.
