Protecting your account is another crucial factor every steemit user must consider whether newbie or old user. Even before you obtain your new steemit account, you would be cautioned to save up your keys as it can't be stored up for you, especially the master key which serves as the central key. This is to emphasize the importance of the Master key since it is the only key to access other keys of your account.
Now to answer the questions set for the achievement 2; the basic security on steem, here is what I have to say regarding to the point.

Question 1

Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?
Answer: Yes. I did that immediately after I signed up for the steemt account. These keys were obtained when I logged in to my wallet via steemit.com wallet, using the Master key.

Question2

Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?
Answer : Yes, I understood that the posting key is use for posting articles to your blog, making a comment on any post, following another account, editing your posts and comments, resteeming posts to your blog, voting and for down voting posts and comments and finally in muting other accounts. Daily activities like those I mentioned above, shows that the posting key is mostly use frequently than other keys that I am going to explain in the next phase.

Active key

Accomplishing actions like powering up/down, certain transactions that includes transferring tokens to another account, making a market other, converting your steem to dollars, rewriting and updating of the profile informations like uploading your avatar and your contact information, voting for witnesses, are all achieve by the Active key.

Owner key

Like I said before, the owner key is the most important of all the other keys. It acts as master key when you need to implicate changes to your account keys. I note that, you can only reflects this changes if an intruder did not change your master key without you knowing that. But if your account master key has been changed without your knowledge, then there is nothing you can do to recover the lost account. So it is prudent to guide your master key very well in other to avoid regrets at last.

Memo key

This key plays an important role in encrypting and decrypting memos. One may say that the memo key is rarely used, but have it in mind that you can not encrypt or decrypt memos when transferring funds without the key.

Question 3

How do you plan to keep your master password?
Answer: After learning how significance the master key is, I have decided to save the password to where it may not be disclosed to intruders. Hence, writing it down on a private note book and to share it with a trusted family member, in case I lost or forgets the password.

Question 4

Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?
Answer: Yes, I understood that steem token, gotten from author's posts or from comments can be transfer to another steem account by using the Active key to login to your wallet via steemit.com wallet. When you have logged in successfully, you can transfer your steem tokens to any steemit account of your choice. For instance, to transfer steem dollars to another steem account.
First, on the wallet dash board,click on the icon that looks like a triangle besides your sbd, then hit the "transfer" and choose the destination account you want to send the steem token to. Lastly, Put down the memo you wish to use and click "next", on the other page, confirm the transaction and the token would be transferred.

The first arrow is showing where to imput the name of the account you wish to transfer the SBD to, the second arrow is where you will type in the amount of SBD and the last arrow is where you write the memo of your choice

Question 5

Do you know how to power up your STEEM?

Answer: Yes, I do. I recognized that steem power influence your activities like voting power and post rewards. This is to say that, the bigger your steem Power, the higher your position thus, your voting power increase as your steem power increase.
Steem power is being accumulated by two different ways which are from the 50% post rewards and by powering up your steem. Converting the steem to steem power is known as powering up and it usually take some number of days before being successful while powering down or back to steem would last for a month.
