Smile, You're Being Filmed 📹(Controlled!)

In our day to day it is impossible to be indifferent with so much intimidation that we suffer when being watched, whether in the streets, avenues, the subway, the bus, when we enter some store, restaurant, bar ... by cameras. And something that always strikes me when I'm on the street and I can see thousands of them scattered around the city.

For me as a street photographer and that daily I am on the streets photographing, the cameras cause a certain astonishment and stain the urban landscape. I realize that when people pass through them, they feel inhibited, invaded and is as if they think: "If it was not enough all the state assaults to control our lives, there is still this technological apparatus that films our gestures, looks, footsteps, they know where I'm going, where I've been, who I've spoken to and what I've done or not done, it's absurd!"

These cameras were installed by the state security forces, where according to them, these cameras are for "Keeping our safety".In my opinion and for me, it is only one of several state strategies to control citizens' lives. Violence is not fought with cameras, but with respect between people and the citizen have their natural right to protect himself and protect their property guaranteed.

Wow, this is scary... Big brother is watching, huh? But I also like to troll the cameras while walking by with weird faces :D

Great to see you here, thanks.

Devemos andar sempre sorrindo.

As câmeras conseguirão fazer alguma coisa contra o tráfico? Conseguirão parar a roubalheira política? =)

great photography , maybe you find some alleys and want to participate in my contest #yourcityvibez :) check the post for the rules :)

Hello @vladikras, I will join for sure this challenge. I'm following you, welcome.

They also allow people to continue on feeling numb, because without feeling numb or finding a deep sense of inner peace, you'd want to throw a rock at the things every time you walked by them.

Yeah @whatamindoing, for it I always say that : "Knowledge is defense." Thanks for coming here, always welcome.

People have the power to control what happens but we never seem to band together to take a stand against being "spied" on. Most people look at it as "we can't change it do just get use to it" or "they are doing it t protect us". Balderdash! I believe it is only going to get worse as long as we allow them to continue. Thank you for sharing, Upvoted and Followed.

I'm happy to know that you liked it , thanks for coming and welcome @feline1991
