Photographic fantasies: Autumn's Collection
Someone, possibly some popular wise anonymous, once said that of: Imagination to Power, in the same way that an extraordinary poet, Gabriel Celaya, said contemplatively, that ‘poetry is a weapon loaded with the future’.
Another poet, Luis Cernuda, introduced the concept of ‘Byzantium syndrome’, to refer to the ineffable passage of time.
And Walt Whitman, opened his chest to describe the tearing of a world, where so important was the birth of a sprout of grass, like the last sigh of a leaf, torn from its branch by the inexorable wind of autumn.
Therefore, I think that photography, without imagination and without poetry, would have the same value as a simple photocopy.
