Perros de Pastoreo y Boyeros
También conocido como Viejo Pastor Inglés o Bobtail, éste es uno de los perros más antiguos, surgió hace más de un siglo en Inglaterra y Escocia, perro que cuenta con gran popularidad en todo el mundo. Es un perro guardián de rebaños, posteriormente se empleó como conductor de ganado, y por último perro pastor y gran compañero.
Es un perro de aspecto robusto de cuerpo compacto, muy simétrico, totalmente cubierto de pelo largo y abundante. Cuando camina, su andar asemeja el balanceo de un oso. Es un perro tranquilo, cariñoso, hábil, recio y musculoso.
