Steemit Philippines Team Virtual Meeting for February: Incubation Program for #club5050 Non-Qualifiers||February Contests and Community Developments Plans

Each of our team members is from different Islands in the Philippines. But the distance doesn't bother us to collaborate on our ideas for the evolution and development of the Steemit Philippines Community.

Considering we are miles away, we've agreed to conduct a virtual meeting monthly. This month, our main agenda is to focus on the advice we received from the Steemit Team through the booming google sheet stating that we must check posts to be submitted and must be #club5050 #club75, and #club100 qualifiers.

Here are the issues that we discussed during our virtual meeting:

1. Incubation Program
2. Contest for February
3. Invite more delegators
4. Check all posts most especially plagiarism and fake accounts

According to our evaluation, almost 50% of our members are not joining the #club5050 program, despite the dissemination of information we've done lately. We understand, maybe because of the financial needs of our fellow Filipinos because of the typhoon that happened in the Philippines, plus this pandemic where money is hard to find and some remain jobless. They might not have a choice but to monetize their earnings. Though we are sorry, still we have to inform everyone that the #club5050 rule must be strictly followed and nonnegotiable.

Since we wanted them to continue posting in our community, one of our solutions is to create an "incubation" program. This program will help them how to qualify into #club5050 by voting their post using our community account. It is also one of the reasons why our team is now actively looking for delegators to add our community steem power so that our community curation upvotes will have bigger value. We will make a complete discussion about this incubation program in a community post.

Our contests this month are already organized. We assign our mod @kneelyrac to create Valentine's contest, @log888 for the comment contest, @loloy2020 major contest, and @juichi Steem Promotion contest for this month. The rest of the teammates will be serving as contest judges. As of now, some contests are already ongoing, thank you so much for your active action MOD, @kneelyrac, and @long888.

One of our way to invite more delegators is to check the wallet of our members if they have unused steem power and invite them to delegate it to the community account. Steemit Philippines is fair enough to give the standard monthly returns to all of our delegators. So far, as we started inviting delegators, we received a positive response. This month alone our community has 4,000 new steem delegations.

Our community supports the program of @ac-cheetah in suppressing those fake accounts and plagiarized posts. Steemit Philippines is one of the trail followers downvoting those users who remain disruptive into this platform. Our community is not excused for that group of people we've already reported some fake accounts and plagiarized posts to @ac-cheetah for further investigation.

Our team is now strictly checking on all posts in our community, most especially to our top 3 posts of the day which are subject to be recommended for booming support.

Next month (March) expect Steemit Philippines will be more lively and fun. As of now, we have advanced plans in creating more interactive projects for our members and ways how to continue the community progress, so stay tuned!
