Weekly Report as Country Representative of the Philippines: September 12 until September 18 -2022

I guess we are all aware now that there are some communities, users, and even those who are famous writers that are now powering down. It is not healthy for the Steemit ecosystem if it continues like this. Good thing that there are still those who keep their fate in Steemit most especially those community leaders and country representatives, we should stand as role models to all Steemit users.

Today, September 19 - 2022 let me recap my performance as one of the admins in the Steemit Philippines and Country Representative for the Philippines.

We welcome our new Dolphin @fabio2614. Despite all those trials she's been through, with fewer upvotes she still managed to grow her account until she reached more than 5,000 SP. She is also the one who invited me to Steemit 4 years ago. Once again congratulations @fabio2614!

Recently our community announced that we are looking for a new moderator from the Luzon region. We now have two applicants from the said major Island of the Philippines. Our community will soon announce those qualifying applicants and join the Steemit Philippines Team.

• We still have a good number of Filipino posters that are continuously active in our community, though not as many as before.
• As I observe, more and more users in our community are now using the #burnsteem25 tag, but only a few are supported by the curators this week.

My post this week is about my son who received the Best in Math award in his class. I am very proud of what he got in his class even without me on his side.

Update about me

I'm in the last box of preparing my things to be sent to the Philippines. My scheduled flight will be on October 4. I'm getting excited to be back with my family after 4 years. I plan to function as a Country Representative to my country fully, it includes meet-ups and I also plan to create a community in connection with food blogging. I believe that as country representatives representing our countries we should also create more communities to give further engagements to the public.
