today I would like to show you some more pictures from the harbour cruise in Valletta, the capital of Malta.

🇩🇪🇦🇹 Liebe Steemians, heute möchte ich euch noch ein paar weitere Bilder von der Hafenrundfahrt in Valletta zeigen.

In the port of Valletta you will not only find pleasure boats, cruise ships or sailing yachts, but also ordinary but also ordinary fishing boats, pilot boats or fire fighter ships.

🇩🇪🇦🇹 Im Hafen von Valletta trifft man nicht nur Ausflugsboote, Kreuzfahrtschiffe oder Segelyachten an, sondern auch ganz normale Fischkutter, Lotsenboote oder Feuerwehrschiffe.

As already mentioned in the last part, the Maltese bathe directly in the harbour area and sunbathe on the very small shore areas.

🇩🇪🇦🇹 Wie schon im letzten Teil erwähnt, baden die Malteser auch direkt im Hafenbereich und sonnen sich auf den sehr kleinen Uferflächen.

This staircase tower leads from the sea level up to the town. The tower standing in front of the fortress wall is a solution to the tricky problem of not destroying the defensive line of the city wall, but still having access to the sea.

🇩🇪🇦🇹 Über diesen Treppenturm gelangt man vom Meeresniveau hinauf zur Stadt. Der vor der Festungsmauer stehende Turm ist eine Lösung des kniffligen Problems, die Verteidigungslinie der Stadtmauer nicht zu zerstören, aber dennoch Zugang zum Meer zu haben.

🇩🇪🇦🇹 Ein Schiff im Trockendock an der im Hafenbereich der Halbinsel Senglea.

This interesting building with a ramp-like path stands on the northwestern side of the Senglea peninsula.

🇩🇪🇦🇹 Dieses interessante Gebäude mit einem rampenartigen Weg steht an der Nordwestseite der Halbinsel Senglea.

Directly opposite, on the west side of the Vittoriosa peninsula is the Malta Maritime Museum

🇩🇪🇦🇹 Direkt gegenüber, an der Westseite der Halbinsel Vittoriosa befindet sich das Malta Maritime Museum

On the way back to the starting point of our harbour tour, we passed the tip of the peninsula Senglea with the striking observation tower "La Guardiola".

🇩🇪🇦🇹 Auf der Rückfahrt zum Ausgangspunkt unserer Hafenrundfahrt passierten wir nochmal die Spitze der Halbinsel Senglea mit dem markanten Beobachtungsturm "La Guardiola".

From here you have an almost unobstructed view through the harbour to the tip of the peninsula Valletta.

🇩🇪🇦🇹 Von hier aus hat man schon wieder fast freien Blick durch den Hafen bis zur Spitze der Halbinsel Valletta.

At the end of my contribution, there is a picture of the "The Saluting Battery" (http://www.salutingbattery.com/), from which ceremonial gun salute shots are fired even today. In addition, shots are fired daily at 12 and 16 o' clock.

🇩🇪🇦🇹 Zum Abschluß meines Beitrages noch ein Bild von der "The Saluting Battery" (http://www.salutingbattery.com/), von der aus auch heute noch zeremonielle Salutschüsse abgefeuert werden. Außerdem werden täglich 12 und 16 Uhr Schüsse abgefeuert.
