Good Morning everyone, have a nice day ahead to us , Today , I just want to share with us about this Most Beautiful Fish in World History and that is AROWANA FISH.

The Arowana are one of the freshwater bony fish in the family of "OSTEOGLOSSIDAE " , also known a "Bonytongues ( the latter name of this are now often reserved for the Arapaimidae ). In the family of fish , the head are bony and the elongated body are covered with large, heavy scales, with an mosaic pattern of the cannals. Dorsal and the anal fins are have soft rays and long based, while in pectoriel and the ventral fins are small . The named "BONYTONGUES" are derived from the toothed bone on the floor of mouth , the tongue are equipped with the teeth that bite against teeth in the roof of the mouth.

The arowana are a facultatibe air breather and it can obtain oxygen from the air by sucking it into swim bladder , which is lined in the capillars in liked long tissue .
Depending in the classification system are used , there have 10 types of Arowana that commonly kept as a pet, 1 from Africa , 2 from Australia, 3 from South Africa and 4 from Asia . The Arowanas are solitary fish and its only allow the company while young , adults may show the dominance and the aggression.

Some of compatible species that often partnered with the Arowana are the " Clown Knife Fish , Oscar fish ,Pacu fish ,green terrors, tin foil barb, siamese tiger , Jaguat cichlids and the other somewhat aggressive fish that it cannot fit on the Arowana's mouth . This fish are most best kept with the live of with the frozen feed and they easily outgrow in the tank within 8 - 10 Months . An the aquarium of atleast 150 gallons are minimum while the tanks upwards of 400 to 600 gallons are preferable and the Australian species are one of best kept alone in aquarium .
