THE DIARY GAME | 03-06-2021 | Visiting Jagna

There was a notice of power interruption today. It went out by early morning but it came back immediately. I am really glad the power was up all day.

Matti slept well after a long feed!

6:30AM

I woke up a little late for breakfast. I had to steam for Matti's meal, cauliflower and chayote while I cooked scrambled eggs and corned beef for the entire family.

It took me a good 30 minutes to cook everything and prepare the table. Breakfast was served at seven in the morning but most of the family members were still in bed. My parents and uncle were the only ones in the table.

After I was done eating, I went to check on Matti and he had just awakened at quarter to 8:00AM. I then went for a quick shower instead.

8:00AM

Matti was not interested in his food. We had tried preloading his spoons but still he would be dropping everything on the floor with matching look down. When he touches his food, it seems like he is not liking the texture.

Oh well, we will try again later.

Our lunch was lechon manok and Matti on the other hand had blended rice, cauliflower and chayote, these were from this morning. At this point, he was able to eat because he gets preloaded spoon into his mouth.

2:00PM

After feeding Matti, we headed to Jagna for grocery shopping! Our nearest grocery store is in Jagna, around 15-20 minutes drive from Guindulman and we also planned on visiting my brother's family.

At Bohol Quality grocery store, I bought some of Matti's necessities and for the household too like milk, chocolate drinks and kitchen stuff. There were only a few people inside the store, I recall when we went here last December, it was full pack and there was almost no social distancing observed.

3:30PM

My mother came with us too!

We had the chance to visit Amari, my niece who lives in Malbog, Jagna. It takes 10 minutes from the main road to get here. We stayed for a while as the ambiance is great and we had some time to spend with Amari who is now four months.

Amari seemed to be doing well together with her mom, Gecell. My brother however was out for a seminar and won't be coming home soon so we had to go home without seeing him.

Dinner was served early, we had pork bbq. I drank some chocolate drink with marshmallows too.

7:00PM

We noticed that Matti has runny nose. It was not a good thing because this is the very first time he had one since birth and I was told by my mother that babies could have a hard time sleeping with a runny nose.

I do hope he could sleep well despite this. I still had to edit a video so I typed this blog entry quickly.
