Blowing Off Steem: My Introduction on Steemit!

Hello fellow Steemsters!  I was originally introduced to this Social Media platform by my employer.  I am the editor for a magazine, a content creator, an orator, a comedian, a veteran, a telecommuter, a father, a brother, a son, an uncle, an active outdoorsman, and a black rifle-2nd Amendment supporting range rat!  I have come her to Steemit to do just what the title of my introduction proclaims...Blow Off Steem!  That's right folks!  Today is your lucky day, for I have worn many hats throughout the course of my life, from class clown to cop to where I am now; working from home in my oh so comfortable pajamas.  I have come here to Steem to share some of my knowledge and experiences with you.  HELLO EVERYBODY!  Here's a recent picture!

By the way...I am also an active prepper.  What's a prepper you ask?  Stay tuned my new found friends, for you shall find out soon enough.  There will be plenty more on that in the days and weeks to come.  

I must confess, I am not a fan of American politics, the dominant two party system, the Electoral College, the Federal Reserve, or the alphabet soup agencies.  That being said, I do find Conservatives and Republicans to be more useful than Democrats and Liberals.  

I'm not much of a follower of "organized" religions, although my Mother was and she made sure we got our weekly dose of the holy message each and every Sunday.  I don't discuss religion much, primarily because I'm not sold on the idea of an invisible icon hovering around somewhere out in the interstellar stew we call space, apparently unaware of what is taking place on the planet they created.  

I am a firm believer in personal responsibility and having the means to be self-sustaining.  I abhor hypocrisy and those who believe they are entitled to anything earned by others. 

I am not a fan of the IRS, nor am I a fan of the legalized extortion scam known as "income tax," which I am sure we will touch base on in a future post or two. 

I create all types of content; it's what I do for a living now, so apparently I'm not too bad at it.  I will be posting in several different categories, no one trick pony show here ladies and gents, so stay tuned for the content you enjoy, and breeze on by the articles you do not find appealing.  It's currently Friday where I am and my work day is done, so...on that note, I am out of here for now!  Hope to see you again soon!
