Today is another great day. A working week as well. I am on vacation anyway but for now I have come back to my hometown to visit my parents. School reopens at 4th September, 2022. So I have few days to resume school but I must enjoy the rest of the holidays.
The Congregation

Mondays are usually for church. It is a prayer done usually for people. The Pentecost church usually have their prayers. They do this for all the churches in the district. They meet and pray every Monday for members example pregnant women and people who have gone through predicaments and meet healing. No one comes here and goes the same. God manifests himself to heal his people.

Church began at 10:00am, the prayers and worship began as usual. It took some time. Always we do have strength in the house of the Lord.
Preaching Time

Pastor Essel preached. He preached about crossing river Jordan. God as baptized in the Jordan river. Crossing river Jordan means crossing to the promised Land. The Jordan here means in this life God promises us to help us cross river Jordan. He picked his text from (Joshua 3:14-17) and( Isaiah 43:2)God helped the Israelites. If you cross the river, you get all what you want.

There were a lot of people around the place. They usually come in their numbers to support the church.I am still at the program. Prayers will continue in some few minutes. I personally came to pray with them. Even though but do not attend Pentecost but I came to worship with them today. I am still there and church will close at 2:00 pm.

Did you go to the church with your parents ?
Am asking because mostly when we go to out parents they make sure our contact with the creator is not lost.
If not for anything I can remember how my mom always insist I go to the mosque to pray.
You really had a busy day today, I thought Church services are usually on Sundays until today I am reading this from your post. It’s great to know that not only sundays are for church service or it depends on the church one attends ?

This is truly an insight of whatever transpired over there. I am glad you were able to make it to church even when you are not at you current home. I must commend you for that because for me, when I travel it means church is Holiday.
