Flying vehicles.
You can believe or not, but the first flying car should go into production at the beginning of 2018. PAL-V Liberty can already be pre-ordered, but it will cost you a little fortune.
You can fly and land at any airport in the world, and the vehicle can be driven to the first gas station and powered. This is a technology that many of us have been waiting for a very long time.

Organs design in the laboratory.
We are in the middle of a biotechnology revolution, and its benefits finally begin to appear. Personalized medicine will become reality in the coming decades, and doctors will be able to prescribe medications designed to precisely match with our genetic constituents.
Biologists are very close to succeed in producing differentiated woven from our own stem cells. This will eventually allow us to grow our own organs, including the heart, without the need for donors and without the risk of rejection.

The oceans will be desalted.
Industrial desalination will become a reality by 2030. As a result of the development of solar energy, thanks to the development of cheap and scalable photovoltaic cells, we will be able to build massive solar power plants that will use waste heat to remove salt from ocean water.
Experts predict that rising drinking water deficits will be more and more covered by these solar power stations and other technologies from the 2020s onwards, and by 2030 most of the potable water production will be achieved through this method.
It seems the images in science fiction movies will be very close to reality. This is not all, we might see water feeding the cars (unflying cars) and artificial intelligence will be explored to the fullest.

I like the design of the PAL-V. Looks practical, but the drivers/pilots will need training.
