Yesterday was the last day of the previous year. Everyone was waiting for the New Year. It was a bit cold. The sun was also strong during the day. I went to my father's village to see him. I left early in the morning. We left home at around 9 o'clock. My father's village was about 60 kilometers away from our village. It took him about two hours to get there.

My father has about three acres of land in the village and is farming on it. Since my father is old, he is unable to go out and work on the land. However, the work is being done with the help of people. My brother goes there from time to time and takes care of the work. When I go to the village, I also visit the farm and I also visited the farm today.

In our farm, about two acres of land are planted with rice. The remaining one acre of land is planted with half coconut trees and half with bananas. The coconut trees are about ten to fifteen years old and the coconut and tender coconuts are harvested from them from time to time. The rice is planted twice a year. This time, the variety planted is IR8. It is now getting ready for harvest. It will be harvested in 15 days.

When I went to the garden, it was around 11.30 am and the workers had already gone home. They start work at 5 am so they finish their work before the midday sun sets and go home. Only the waterers come and go at 3 pm, three-quarters of the water is automatically supplied, people come just to turn on the switch. After watering, they stop.

There was a cow and calf gathered near our paddy farm, it was very beautiful to see, I touched it and enjoyed it and took photos.Similarly, there were two rocks there, one of which was beautifully round like a huge ball, very beautiful to look at, I took a photo of that too.

After that, I went home and saw my parents. After having lunch, I rested for a while. They had prepared paratha and masala for lunch and served it on banana leaves. The food was very good. After having lunch, I left from there and came home. In the evening, there were celebrations on the 31st night. This time, since my daughters were not with me to celebrate the 31st, I did not feel like celebrating. So I stayed home. However, I enjoyed watching live concept shows on Geo Cinema along with my son.
