Insects mating

Normally I would be very difficult when taking pictures of small insects by using a smartphone. I had to bring a camera phone very close to them, and it will make them very disturbed. I will be perceived as a threat by them. They will be afraid and they immediately get away from me. In situations like this I had to spend a lot of time to take pictures of them from all sides.

But, strangely they did not feel disturbed when I take a picture when they're mating.
Why...?
I noticed they did mating very long time, is very beneficial for me, I could take their picture with so freely.
