To promote business
Track Watch Network Pix (registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission), engaged in Publishing, Educational Supplies and General Merchandise.
This firm was discovered to be involved in diverse economic activities, but due to the global recession, it has narrowed it's operations to merchandise of consumables and allied services.
One of the features of their areas is creating awareness on changing both local and foreign psyche on locally produced goods and services.
Raising advocacy in government circles and investors fora on the necessity of investing in high quality development and assurance facilities by the government as it is very capital intensive
With the present fall in the price of crude oil in the international market, they encourage government to support export drive to raise foreign reserve.
Encouraging local manufacturers of particularly leather materials, garments, shoes to utilize the common facility put up for them by government in collaboration with the world bank.
This will help local manufacturers to improve the quality of their of their products in order to compete favourably in foreign markets.
Track Watch sources crawfish from fish the Riverine communities of Cross River and Akwa Ibom states. Catfish on the other hand comes from fish bond owners. They dry, package and supply to their customers.
One observed flaw is that the crawfish comes with so much impurities from the fishermen. The management takes their time to sort out all these unwanted materials (mainly aquatic) before packaging them. They incur much over head through this process.
By the time they diligently do this, five bags normally come to three or sometimes two and half bags.
I purchased stationery materials from their outlet to ensure quality and controlled price.
I would rate them eighty percent. They are consistent, always putting the interest of their customers first. They do not raise prices of their wares at randome.
Their prices are most times stable and pocket friendly.
They are very conscious of what they offer their customers, especially public institutions, Bank staff and Civil Servants.
Their home delivery services has always been a big relief to me, especially when I am trapped in a tight schedule. Their goods are affordable to all classes of customers.
Track Watch has to be praised for always being there for their customers. Their offer at the pick of the Covid 19 Pandemic was commendable. Offering their customers free nose Mask and Hand Sanitizers.
Their daily need products would go a long way to helping sustain their services while accessing greater number of clients.
They should realize that the pandemic from available statistics has not abated. So they should continue to take steps to enlighten their customers as they engage one another to ensure optimal health of all and sundry.
Also, it is necessary to continue to source for more nutritious and quality food items from any of the many commercial farms springing up in different locations in the country in order to bring to reality the slogan "Farm Fresh".
Reports from health authorities and dieticians indicate that most of the local food stuff and much better e.g apples that are preserved with unwholesomes chemicals like gamaline which makes them unhealthy for human consumption.
Recall, certain food items that were supplied to the American Market from Nasarawa, Zamfara, Gombe were, after examination by the Port health authorities found to be infected by bacteria and was sent back to the exporting country.
There is the tendency by unscrupulous and shylock business men to repackage and sale them to unsuspecting members of the society.
This should serve as a clarion call to the management of Track Watch Network to be vigilant and always identify the source of their supplies and possible attractive cheap prices.
This has always been a trap to get these unwholesome food disposed. Good health of the citizenry should always be uppermost in their minds in sourcing and procuring materials to resale to customers.
Consideration should be given seasonal and perishable food items, by way of storage and disposal e.g vegetables, mango, guava, oranges, periwinkles etc.
Either steps are taken to refrigerate or quickly sold off to customers. It is abhorent to waste food, especially when a lot of people can either not afford three square meals a day or facing outright starvation.
