My garden is a disaster this year. Nothing Is happening.

I'm not impressed with my gardening this year. Nothing seems to be growing, nothing is looking right. I can't see much changing any time soon.

I was looking forward to growing a few vegetables then eating my own food but the only ones that are showing any effort is the Beetroot. and Peppers, Even my flowers are a disappointment. I was looking forward to seeing so much colour this year.

My Rose trees are still looking good, the Emperor Blue from last year is looking strong and the pot of Cornflower Snowman are looking good.

I made a mistake with 2 of my fruit trees, i forgot to put holes in the base of the pots to let the water through stupid me now i have 2 drowned pots that i am now draining hoping i can still save them.

If nothing works i will have to put this down to experience and take up knitting.

Thank you son-of-satire

Patience, Karen. It is early in the season. When you have a late start this year, you need to give it some time. Some seasons are just better than others. Some seeds too. Practice makes perfect and even people who seem to have perfect gardens have their problems too.

Thank you, I am very impatient, once they start I will feel better :)

re-plant, there is still time to get things going this year, they will be just a little later that's all.

I am going to plant more tomorrow, need more colour :)

Go for it,

I have done a few more pots today :)

Gardening is a very hard work

It is that but still fun when things go right :)

That is not good. I have when that happens and then you try to figure out what is the problem. Is it the soil, is it the seeds, not enough sun, too much water etc.
At least that is what I do, and it drives me crazy since usually I get really nice and very good garden, but last time, nothing was growing either, even if I tried over and over. It would start coming up really nice and then it would just stop or something would eat them. It was frustrating.
I hope you will still get some veggies you can enjoy and hopefully, the flowers will still come out and make it nice a colorful.
At least you have some things growing nicely.

I am hoping things will start picking up once the weather starts getting better :)

It's so early in the season, still. You can always plant some cress or arugula, that grow so fast. Or radishes. Once your weather warms up, you'll see some progress. It's hard for a gardener to wait, lol! : )

I am really impatient, I have to learn to wait :)
