My special little silver heart.
Losing a loved one is very hard to move on from, once the funeral is over then it's time to grieve and let go but still keep them in your heart.
When my hubbys granddad died over 10 years ago his ashes were given back to gran in an urn which she kept locked up in her cupboard, poor grandy wanted to be free Gran wanted hers and his to be released on the same day together.
When Gran died last November we talked about making a day of releasing there ashes then having a meal out as as a family gran loved to lunch I was asked if I wanted to have a little of her ashes as we were very close, I said yes but hubby didn't want an urn in the house as he didn't like the idea. Then we were told they do special little urns now that don't look so ominous, they come in shapes like hearts, books, cars etc. I opted for a heart with a little bit of gran and grandy inside.
This comes in a lovely suede box, I think it will look lovely sitting next to my collection of angels. Think they will both be comfortable there :)

Seen the pictire on the last one, your daughter is a really brave girl:) I wouldn't manage with such a pet:) I have only a dog :) But my mother has an animal shelter: 12 dogs, 5 cats and A LOT of birds of different kinds. And each and every one has it's own story:)
Your mother is amazing, I would love to be able to do that. I have 2 dogs 3 rats 1 hamster and 4 fish if I had a bigger house and garden I would have more dogs :)
