The WaterFront Restaurant Served up a Perfect Meal.
My night away was amazing, my oldest daughter paid for a gorgeous B&B for a night with a meal at a lovely restaurant for my 53rd birthday, We were sent to Whitehaven somewhere I had never been to before but my daughter goes here every year to celebrate her birthday.
The restaurant is called The Waterfront, its situated In front of the Harbour at Whitehaven.
Its a lovely restaurant with a fantastic menu and great service. We were given a table straight away then given a few minutes to get settled with the menu, they asked if we would like any drinks, Glen ordered his usual Hobgoblin and I ordered a Toffee bon bon cocktail made up with Toffee vodka. Limoncello and lemonade with the glass tipped in icing sugar I think and a large jug of cold water.
They then came and took our starter and main order
I ordered Ham Hock Hash Cake With Poached Egg. Radishes and Home Made Tomato Sauce
Glen ordered Baked Camembert with Toasted Bread and Chutney.
For our mains we both ordered the same.
Gammon with Roasted Parsnips and Onions, battered hard boiled egg with a Sweet Chutney and a pot of Home Cut Chips
As you can see from the next picture It was delicious. I did end up giving Glen some of my Gammon.
We both couldn't eat a pudding even though they sounded delicious. We had to accept defeat.
This all came to £54. We thought this was very good as the food was presented lovely, tasted delicious and the service was spot on.

I'd take a drink like that. Not to actually drink though. I'd put it on the table and stare at it because it's so pretty. Looks like a good meal.
It was very pretfy and very tasty but not big enough lol
The presentation of the food was very nice and it looked absolutely delicious! I would have left room for dessert. LOL
I gave Glen half of my Gammon and left most of the chips, there was no way I was going to fit anything else in there lol
