The score after 550 Splinterlands Untamed Cards!
A new era has reached in the game of Splinterlands or TGFKA Steemmonsters! Untamed cards are here, and bought some beforehand because my curiosity got the best of me. After a nice 1.5 hour of opening and another hour of combining cards and also immediately looking at the qualities it is time to settle the score
No gol legendaries but enough gold to find in there, and even with finding some gold summoners! What also is to be noticed is that you need more cards to level them op. So for a common card from level 1 to 2 used to be 3 cards combined and this is now 5 cards combined. Most of the additional skills seem to reach mostly from level 4 and up so a crap load of cards to collect before getting there!
Also again some new abilities to the cards were added, which at first I had trouble finding what all of these abilities actually do. But since a short while when you go over the card with you mouse, an immediate pop up appears with says what everything does. A huge benefit I find, especially also seeing what you opponent has in his cards. That is improvement right there!
Now for the real beauties. Some dragon legendaries and even a level 2 (only 3 pieces needed for legendaries to level up) with some mad skills in there. I must say. It is getting more and more attractive to play dragon splinters when you are not working on a daily quest, and if the manna level is high. Because all of these cards are super expensive in manna but they are also worth it!
Some more legendaries from other splinters but all with manna cap of 10. Baboom! Pay it to make it! What are all these cards worth on the market actually you ask? No prices are listed as yet, I think everybody is still way too busy on opening all of their packs to even think on starting to sell.
Ofcourse I also got a good stack of common and rare cards, which I all managed to level up to level 3, which sounds nice, but still isn't really giving extra abilities. I have to really see on the playablity on all of these cards actually. new is scary right ;)
What great Untamed cards you have there! Congrats! ~ @clove71
Thanks a bunch! Yeah already the fun of opening and the excitement beforehand was already worth it! Curious how the cards will be while playing.. How is your experience until now? @clove71

I'm playing Gods Unchained, who knows which is the best between Splinterlands and Gods Unchained?!
I didn't play Gods Unchained but Splinterlands is different from other TCGs as it is also an auto-battler. Meaning the matches are quick and light to play. You take some time (up to 2.5min) to assemble a team out of your cards before the fight by using the right strategy for the ruleset which is different every game. Your opponent does the same and then your monster cards will battle it out in an automated mode to see which team was picked best.
Also Splinterlands does not have transaction fees so it becomes easier to buy and sell cards (no Gas needed as for ETH tokens).
Trying is free, so you may as well sign up. If you like the gameplay and want to unlock reward earnings the starter pack is a 10 USD one time investment.
Thanks for this answer. Very interesting. You made me want to try the game.
