This is unbearable "Banco de Venezuela" out of service until further notice

in #economy8 years ago (edited)

Unfortunately, it is amazing what is happening in Venezuela, you can not get the money on paper, they are strong queues that we make at any bank to get a small amount of money that is not enough to buy at least one rice.

Yesterday I was in the center of my city to do some shopping, and I arrived at the house without being able to buy a bread, since the venezuela bank card was not accepted at any of the points of sale.

When I got home, I found out about the situation due to a message I received in my email where he told me the following: "An incident was reported in the electrical room of the Banco de Venezuela tower, which caused damage to the batteries of the equipment (UPS) that supply power to the Bank's computers, so the platform is off and without service. The protocols to follow have been activated. The incidence was presented at 1:30 a.m. Bank technology attends the incident and expects the personnel of Corpolec to solve the electrical problem. All the services of the bank are affected. Agencies, ticket offices, ATMs, points of sale, Internet banking "

Since yesterday we are affected by this problem that we do not know with certainty how true the technical failure is. What we do know is that when you go to an ATM, what you get in cash is (5000 bolivars) that you can pay for two bus tickets to move into an area, and if the ATM is from the same bank as your debit card. . It has 10,000 bolivars that are used to pay for 4 bus tickets. Or to be more specific, 5000 is enough to buy a candy. and 15000 to buy a sweet lollipop. What do you think?

This is a total chaos of what is happening in my country, now with cash, because we do not have it, and neither does the bank, because there is no money on paper. They are long queues that Venezuelans make daily to be able to choose between 20 and 30 thousand. A lack of respect for people. Many people go hungry because they do not have access to electronic dollars and have to survive with the minimum wage stipulated by the government. (Bs 797,510 for the minimum integral salary, including the food bonus)

On the 13/02 I went to buy chicken thighs and gizzards, and I look at the bill, practically the minimum wage disappears in a day. That is why the people who earn that salary die of hunger, because the country's economy is based on the price of the black dollar, but not on a devalued bolivar.

It is a sad reality that we are living, and we do not know how long this will be, we will continue to pray for Venezuela so that these corrupt rulers leave power and we are free and prosperous as we were before.

Note: My language is Spanish, sorry if English is not good, I used the translator to transmit this information with you, I hope it has been understood.

Greetings and blessings

that is one of the reasons why many Venezuelans have emigrated, and those that are still missing, this is crazy, thanks to the fact that some of us have opted for the investment in cryptocurrencies and the steemit platform is that we are surviving in this country.

It's so important to have options for transactions that don't depend on banks. I hope that you do okay and that Steemit and crypto-currencies are helping.

hello friend, thank you for your comment and support, well, I have another bank, but unfortunately, currently I had no money in the alternate, I only had in the bank of venezuela, and had complicated the day of that percanse that happened, but thanks to Las cryptocurrencies that we have solved by other means, it is unfortunate that people who do not have Internet access or knowledge of these income alternatives and are greatly affected, most of my family can not enjoy these benefits since internet services are suspended. You probably do not enjoy this service, the situation is serious! but there is no evil that lasts a thousand years nor body that resists it. Thank you.

It happens in movies happens in Venezuela, what was believed to be a failure of hours, it has been more than a day, and it is unthinkable to withhold money from people for more than 24 hours, but it is public banking they do not respond no one and they care little about their customers, in any other part of the world this happens to a bank means bankruptcy.

This is pathetic people suffering to access their hard earned money, Government should do something may be allow paper money go into circulation again.
