From Manager to Carpenter

In a time of financial instability i finally decided to break the norm and start my own business. I live in Motor City Windsor Ontario, right across from Detroit Michigan.

Everyone i know works in the auto industry! We are a blue collar town and automobiles are the life blood of our city. The auto industry is experiencing a slowdown and issue as of late. If i plan to survive i realized i needed to get out.

Five years of management experience in the auto industry was my only asset. Going back to school at the moment was not an opinion and would not guarantee me a job. This got me thinking what am i passionate about and what inspires me.

My father is a carpenter and I've helped him through the summers of my teenage years. The smell of saw dust and building something with my hands excited me and fueled my passion. I realized that this was the road i wanted to take due to my passion for it.
