One day in Las Vegas...

It was my first time at the Newark Airport. Good impressions, quick and easy. As opposed to the airline we flew with - the crew was careless and neglectful of passengers even when offering service and the planes were equipped like an old polish "PKS" bus which makes a difference when you're flying for six hours. But we made it. The views on the way changed often, see below for the most common ones:

Right after we arrived we went to... a physical therapist to seek help for my mom's swollen knee. To her surprise and joy, she met a Navajo native American there, who did four procedures on her. We also did kinesiology taping so she can survive walking the Grand Canyon tomorrow. It all went well and she left feeling much better. We spent a couple of hours there and then decided to go food hunting.

My next random choice turned out to be a diner in Stratosphere, a hotel, observation tower, entertainment center and huge casino. The food was mediocre (although it may have just been our poor choices) but I left so full I was rolling.

Now after a quick shopping session for breakfast and hats, we dropped dead in our room. It's already 11pm in NYC even though it's just 8 here but you can definitely feel the difference in time and climate.

I'm surprised but I like Vegas. The people here are nice, it's warm and dry, prices seem better than in NYC. I think I got immune to the money cult. It doesn't bother me anymore. It is what it is and in the end everyone does their own thing.

Still learning about myself. It seems like all my ever suppressed negative features come out on the surface in America. Gotta catch them all...

Sort:

Vegas cleaned me out before i even got off the plane. I had my wallet stolen or left it on the plane.. damn spirit wouldn't let get back on it because "the cleaning ladies were on there"

will write a post next about my experience.. thanks for reminder.
