Gratitude Haturday Party
I’m having a quiet party at my house today, despite being unreasonably tired.
I even went to bed early last night like a good girl, but I’m functioning on over three years of sleep deprivation (I’m a mommy), so fatigue is woefully normal.
Life rolls on. May as well enjoy it!
For some #haturday fun, I donned my pink kitty hat.
Yes, that’s a boat in my living room. My kids play on it.
Here’s the view out the window:
Down there in the valley is a lake, frozen, of course, with snow on it.
I don’t feel like going outside today. The wood stove is nice and warm. Plus I don’t want to have to change out of my favourite purple skirt, and it is 100% impractical outside in the cold.
Why the little party? Why am I grateful?

I'm celebrating the fact that @topkpop adopted @d-vine and me, and that @saffisara adopted @emjoe and @ameliabartlett. I'm celebrating having friends to visit when I road trip to Tennessee later this year...

Oh my gosh! So much wonderfulness in one post. First off, adore the hat it is so adorable. I also have to admit that the boat in the house thing is a genius idea, may have to use that over here one day. Hi, little kitty cat. What a cutie :) Needless to say I am so happy to have you on board as my minnow.
The pink kitty hat is fun, but I sure get some weird looks if I wear it in public (unless I'm at an event where weird is normal, in which case, YAY!) Thanks for the love, minnowmama. Glad this post made you smile. :)

Warm fuzzies are the best. :) When I was in 1st grade I had probably my all-time favourite teacher. She would give us little fuzzy "creatures" if we were really good (tiny pompom balls with eyes glued on) and called them "warm fuzzies." Me, being the child who felt bad for every stuffed animal that didn't have a home, would cradle my warm fuzzy like a kitten and cherish it all day.

Yea girl your awesome, that view is sick, and I bet its awesome to have some winter weather. Life is good and we live on, everyday is a gift and we can share it, cherish it and inspire forward to all our friends and family and be a source of light and life... Aw, sweet and reciprocated! It will be fabulous to connect "on the ground," so to speak... Sometime when it's warmer, and I don't have to drive 1000s of miles in snow tires. lol! :)
