Open Mic Week 43: terrible thumbnail, don't care (Alanis Morissette cover by Kay Clarity)
I have to admit it's been VERY hard to keep up here with the month I've had. Anyone else? I thought it would be more doable than it has been, and I guess it's largely because I know I want to submit quality to my audience! But it's sad to be away too much. Hopefully I'm back and settled for a while. For now.. a very-little-make-up and crazed hair video with a TERRIBLE thumbnail. Oh well.
Anyway, I had debated about staying involved with the Open Mic as it become so over-saturated lately, but decided to get something in this week. It really is a good initiative on here so more and more this is just me supporting that!
This song expresses in a quirky way a lot of how I feel about my crazy, confusing, artistic life at the moment. It's hard but good.

Open Mic is a just a way to have fun and meet musicians. We appreciate your support and hope to see you keep playing. I mean, if you're playing any way you may as well post it. It's like busking without having to leave the house.

I was all over the place the last 6 weeks, and was trying to keep up but eventually just totally fell off--and then it's hard to get back in the game!
