Tony my guy sat beside this pretty girl in a combined final year lecture back in 2011, they talked for a while before lecturer came in and scattered them.

It was a combined faculty lecture and Tony was opportuned to sit besides this pretty girl he never noticed from 100 level, they talked and laughed. She was so pretty and calm and he could only get her name (Angela) before the lecturer came and scattered their mini date 😢

He didn't get her department, her hostel, phone number, nothing. He searched for her after the lecture and she was nowhere to be found 😣

He started describing her to his friends but as usual they laughed at him thinking he was mad or something 😂😂

Tho hard to let go, Tony had to low-key forget about this mysterious girl to focus on his finals and project. He graduated with his set, convocated and went for youth service.

He never saw Angela again, he felt bad but had to move on with life.😐

Fast forward 3 years after Tony got a job with an IT firm in Port Harcourt and had to relocate from Lagos to begin his new job, the environment was new to him and he had no friends in PH.

He mostly was bored weekends as he just watches football and drinks alone

Tony had gotten a week leave from work and was now super bored, so he posted on twitter "Who stays around Abuluoma, I'm new here and I'm bored as fuck"

One "omo wobe" retweeted it, and then it got another RT until some girl from twitter replied "where in Abuluoma?"

"I'm actually heading to fimie now" Tony replied and the girl was like "Oh, I'm just by second church road"

Tony got down from the cab and he saw Tonye who was standing and waiting for him, "are you the girl from twitter?" She nodded and they both exchanged pleasantries. 😎😎

Tonye was going to her friend's house to drop a package for her, she asked Tony if he would like to go with her and he agreed so they walked down together.

Getting there Tonye's friend had gone to work but dropped her key, she located it and went inside with Tony.

"You aren't scared of letting a stranger into your friend's home?" Tony asked and she said to him that he doesn't look like a bad person.

There was light in the house so they decided to relax and watch TV while Tonye called her friend to let her know she was inside her house

"I better meet food in that house when I come back" Tonye's friend replied, Tonye reluctantly said she would try but that she was heading somewhere. Tony oberheard the convo and asked Tonye what her friend wanted, she told him and he offered to cook for her. 😃😃😃

"You'll do that?" Tonye asked Tony and he said yes, so Tonye picked up her phone and called her friend back to tell her that she will meet food when she gets home. "I trust you my na" her friend responded as she hung up and faced Tony; "I'm heading to Mile 1 market, take care" ✌

What a day Tony was having, from being bored to being inside an apartment he doesn't know how owns it. He walked into the kitchen, it was almost empty so he locked the door and went downstairs to buy some soup items to cook for someone he doesn't know 🤗

Fast forward... He was still in the kitchen almost done when he heard a voice from the parlour; "Wow nice aroma in this house, I'm so lucky"

Tony thought it was Tonye so he just kept on tidying up his cooking, the kitchen door opened and seeing it was a guy she screamed!!!

"Who are you and what the hell are you doing in my kitchen" she continued, as Tony would turn his back in reflex, looked at her face and screamed "Blood of Jesus!! Angela???" "Oh my God I must be dreaming"

"Do I know you?" Angela responded, she was surprised!

"I've been looking for you all my life, where have you been?'' Angela was still shocked as she tried to look closely in his face to see if she could recognise him...

"Don't worry I'll tell you who I am, I'm sure you must be hungry. Let me serve you, just go and have your sit"...

Tony served her food in a tray, took it to her and have her water to wash her hands. While she was eating, he reminded her about the lecture where they had met and how he looked for her round the whole school to no avail. She apologised & explained what happened, smiled & ate 😋

Tony then asked for her number and she gave him, he had to hurry back home cos it was getting late. "Now I know your name, where you live, and I have your number but there's one more thing" Tony said. "What's it?" Angela asked

"Can I take u to lunch this weekend?"

"Sure"

So they went out on a date, had mad fun together and it felt like they had been together for years. Tony asked her if she was single and she said yes, he was surprised a pretty girl like her wasn't taken but she was always busy with work. He asked her to date him & she agreed 💃

So they dated for years and today is actually their wedding, it's a pity but I wouldn't be able to attend to tell this romantic tale at the reception but I wish them happy married life ❤❤
