Monochrome Monday - and an impromptu 2 SBD contest!

Seascapes for #MonochromeMonday

I was searching through some old photos today, looking for shots to convert to monochrome and I kept hitting on seascapes. I guess I was just in that kind of mood. I am submitting a bunch of photos for the challenge, but don't look at them yet. First, make sure to visit the old-feller's @old-guy-photos post right *** HERE *** Do it, and give him a nice upvote! Do it now, then come back, ok?

Are we all seated comfortably? Good, then we'll begin... I hope Paul won't mind that I added a contest to my post this week. @old-guy-photos this is a one-time thing and you can play too!

One: Inner Harbour, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

Here's the thing about the contest: it's a simple guessing game. These are all seascape photos, and five of them came from Mexico. Five more were taken in the USA, and five were taken in Canada. All seacapes, all on the Pacific Ocean.

Two: Fishermen departing at dawn. Melaque, Jalisco, Mexico

There's probably no way to tell which country they came from. It would be too hard, and you really shouldn't try... you'd have to use logic and reasoning and stuff to figure it all out.

Three: Cannon Beach, Oregon, USA

Or perhaps you've been there yourself... Some of these are easy, but other's might be impossible. If you really want to play, you can I suppose...

Four: Swimming at sunset, Melaque, Mexico

All you have to do is correctly identify the country of origin of ten SEVEN of these photos. The first person with ten SEVEN correct answers and no mistakes wins 2 SBD. Edit... guess away, I won't deduct for mistakes.

Five: Light keepers house, Heceta Head Lighthouse, Oregon, USA

There would have to be some rules... Number one: if you don't follow me, beat it, get lost! Or maybe you could just follow me... yes, that sounds so much better! Ok then, the contest is open to people who follow me! :)

Six: Horseback riding on the beach, Melaque, Mexico

Another thing...I have to pay for this somehow, so you must upvote this post to play!

Seven: Lion's Gate Bridge, Vancouver, BC, Canada

That's it really. Just give me your answers in the comments.

Eight: Bandon Beach, Oregon, USA

You don't have to know them all... Just go One = Norway, Four = France, etc.

Nine: Fisgard Lighthouse, Victoria, BC, Canada

But not Norway or France... just Mexico, USA and Canada. I already told you that!

Ten: Point Wilson Lighthouse, Port Townsend, Washington, USA.

Two cruise ships were having a race coming out of Puget Sound on the way from Seattle to Victoria. They will stop for roughly six hours in Victoria, then depart around midnight for Alaska.

The prize will be paid on the day this post pays out. That's next Monday, May 28th, 2018.

Eleven: On the beach, Melaque, Mexico
