Nautical Masculine Handmade Card for Dad
I'm excited to share my card I created for Try Stampin On Tuesday Tic Tac Tuesday. You can visit the blog at www.trystampinontuesday.blogspot.com for examples of more cards.
Here's the tic tac tuesday board for the challenge this week.
I decided to use the horizontal center row for wood-blue-distressed. With Father's Day approaching I went for a masculine themed card and added the word DAD for father's day or even a guy's birthday.
Using Stampin up Chocolate Chip ink I stamped the background using a woodgrain stamp on kraft cardstock then I distressed the edges with an ink blender. I cut a tag and banner using some nicely textured navy cardstock. I chose an antique gold embossing powder for stamping the sailboat and the word DAD. I finished the DAD banner by punching 2 holes along the top and ran some jute twine through before tying a bow.
I hope that you will visit www.trystampinontuesday.blogspot.com to get some inspiration for creating your cards.
Have a great day and enjoy a great cup of coffee.
