Today, i will be discussing something that concerns the growth and development of the platform and a whole lot of other ways we can actively be involved in keeping the community going.

After I came back from the meetup in Ibadan I decide to visit pay a visit with @valchiz to some steemians at OAU University that has been in the platform, but have not being posting other blog for some while now.

Much more than collating and posting records and telling people about steemit, which is my primary task. It is also my responsibility as a way of giving back to the steemit community, to assist and check on how new steemians are fairing in the platform. So, i decided to make a visit to some of the steemians i introduced into the community.

I was not impressed with some of them though i didn't show it, some of them had stopped blogging and have been inactive on their accounts. This is why am making this post to help them and some other steemians who are having the same challenge's and how they can manage it and still become successful in the community

Below are some of the reasons i got as response to why they have been inactive:

  1. Less time
  2. No ideas on what to blog about
  3. Academic Challenge
  4. No good reward on post payout.

Like i responded to some of them, it is only number 4 reason thats a genuine reason but i used myself as an example. I told them how i began on steemit earning nothing in most cases on my post. The bottom line is that they is nothing that is ever worth while that has ever come on a platter of gold. I encourage as many as are having the challenge, you need to start gradually and be patient and be consistent at what you are doing, because it is often said that"drop by drop a mighty ocean is formed". And again, try to get a mentor, someone who has succeeded and learn from him.

As for the part of academic challenge and lack of time, i really do not know how each individuals academic challenge is, but using myself as a case study again, i'm a part time student, also working and my job demands nothing less than 10 hours from me on a working day and i still make out time to try and put up something to blog, compile the weekly steemup records, although i get a little help. Am just saying you need to try and make out time no matter how hard it seem. With the trends of activities going on in the crypto world, crypto currency is gradually taking over the worlds economy, and you do not want to be that man or woman who was not ready for this paradigm shift.

For lack of ideas on what to blog about, steemit is a community where you express who you are and try to ensure that in your expression you add value to your followers or who ever is reading your content. Basically for this one you need to identify your niche and bank on it. They are platform like dtube, dmania, dlive etc where you can post videos about what you do.

No idea of what to blog about has lead many to plagiarism, just as being stock at point not know what to blog about, but want to post daily.

The ideal of blogging about your profession is good a good, it something do daily basis you can easily find it easy to write much about it. Steemit is a home for all Your skill you can also blog about it an get rewards for it.
