The Diary Game 14/06/2021-Rocca di Angera 🚙 🚙 🚙
Yesterday I was in the parts of Lake Maggiore, and so I decided to take a couple of photos of this wonderful Rocca Borromeo di Angera which is practically located in a strategic point, on a limestone spur that overlooks the lake and in the always throughout history it has been a symbol of naming power.
At the beginning the property belonged to the Visconti family, but in 1449 it was bought by the Borromeo family to whom it still belongs, you can enjoy an excellent landscape from the top of the Castellana tower and inside you can find fourteenth-century frescoes in the hall of justice, currently it is used as a Museum of the Doll and of the unique game in Italy, it is among the most prestigious in Europe.

Surely when I have more time I will come to pay a visit to the Doll and Toy Museum, which was founded in 1988 by Princess Bona Borromeo Arese, and is distinguished mainly by the quality, variety and rarity of the collections. The museum is spread over 12 rooms and inside there are over 1000 dolls made from the eighteenth century until today.
