Drying rice seeds ; one of special rural view
Drying rice seeds is a process that must be done after harvest and before the rice seeds are pounded into rice. That's because rice seeds must be completely dry in order to produce quality and perfect rice.
At that time, a sight that would appear everywhere in the countryside was people drying their rice seeds in the front yard of their house or wherever suitable place for it. The view will be very prominent there, and will rarely seen in urban areas.
So what is the point?
I want to say that there is a moving center of activity. Now, the rice fields look quiet even for a while. Frequently seen there, only a few groups of livestock, cattle and goats, unlike before, especially during harvest, where there were so many people. Now, activities have moved into their homes to complete work for their lives. I think it is a time of pause to gather more spirit to return to the fields next season.
Humans have been doing this routine throughout their history, with stories, which have little place in the historical record.
