Are Binance about to launch Options trading?

I am going to be discussing the possibility that Binance will soon be launching cryptocurrency options.

Yesterday on the 29th of July I got an update to my Binance app, it’s a pretty solid app, one of the best in the space, but as I looked at the new features I noticed this.

Now this is likely due to the success Deribit have been having with options, deribit is a derivatives site, offering perpetual futures, dated futures and fairly uniquely options. That is unless Binance joins them in the space.

They may want to do this as Deribit recently said they are setting record volumes. I am sure Binance would love to get some of that volume.
