second day my 365 days poetry challenge.

MY COFFEE MUG

I woke up still almost asleep
of the fatigue I had
from day to day of my routine
with a lot of tension in the body

I just hoped to fix myself
go down to the kitchen
prepare that tasty and delicious
coffee with sparkling milk

How delicious with my little bread
It inspires me to sit at my table
and look towards the window
and enjoy that coffee with milk

While I savored it
my lips felt the foam
of creamy milk
they looked like white whiskers

It made me laugh when I saw myself in the mirror
how I enjoy that moment in the morning
how sweet and delicious
with its two sugar cubes

It sweetens my soul
to start a new day
I go happy to work
wanting to take it again

And take it with sweet cookies
of chocolate and vanilla
with pineapple cake
that sweeten my palate
