Czech National Bank - Don't be afraid of bitcoin / English Article

Hey Steemians,

I've just ran into this article on net from yesterday, where CNB vice-governor Mojmír Hampl writes a short article about BTC.

I've been expecting some crypto bashing rant from this central bank representative. 

But to my surprise, it is not that bad, although it is biased.
He is advocating central banking elastic money system. 

Dismissing BTC as a threat due to the fact that it has very little transactions even compared to our small country currency Koruna (CZK). Yep, we're still not using EUR.

Second counter argument is BTC's inherent volatility, therefor making it "crappy" currency because  stability matters.      

On the other hand he held a briefing where he "examines the development of digital currencies and decentralized  ledgers, best practices and the potential for global standards, as well  as the relevant risks and benefits".

In my opinion, if we see sensible approach to crypto from the government side, it can help Bitcoin and other crypto and decentralized projects grow.
