Harvest Coconut

Good night, Friend steemit, on this occasion I will share about the harvest of coconut fruits in my village, local coconut trees being felled victims used for tourist building materials and livestock pens.

The subsequent impact of industrial development has led to the acceleration of the development of the housing sector in Peutet village which also has a lot of annexing coconut moor land and cutting down productive coconut trees into building materials.

The potential of coconut moor in Peuteut is only 50 percent of the era before the 80s. Rehabilitation efforts are also carried out by the government through plantation projects.

The aim of the project is to increase coconut production through intensification, not much planting expansion can be done because the land has been very limited and to increase the welfare of farmers.

Now the coconut field in Peutet Village is around 10 hectares. The population of fruiting coconut plants ranged from 3,120 trees, under 5 years old coconut trees / not yet fruiting around 1,530 trees.

Coconut harvest in Peuteyt village is done 8 times a year. Harvesting is not done simultaneously, but gradually according to the ability of the coconut harvesting group.

The yield of coconuts at each harvest can reach 30,840 coconut granules. Or within a year the village of Nyuhtebel can produce 135,040 coconut granules and the following results are harvested.
