User blogs/category for different types of posts
At the moment every steemit user have one blog to post and the address looks like https://steemit.com/@kiaazad, but for the users whom post about several different subjects their one and only page gets very messy very fast, since the tags stop working after seven days serious bloggers need a better way to categorize their posts for their followers (I've tagged more than ten posts with #kia-tuts and this is what it gives me:)
An easy fix to this problem is allowing the users to create their sub-folder (blogs) to post in, we can list the folders at one of the sides:
And the addresses would be something like:
https://steemit.com/@kiaazad
https://steemit.com/@kiaazad/tutorials
https://steemit.com/@kiaazad/crypto
https://steemit.com/@kiaazad/photography
https://steemit.com/@kiaazad/rants
or the equivalent address in busy and utopian.
The folder creation can be as easy as typing a folder name or choosing an existing one while creating the post:
I've read somewhere that "your post don't expire after it's payout and still benefits you by bringing traffic to your blog" , but it's hard to imagine how my post can show up in search engines if the search engine doesn't stumble upon it in the first seven days and loses it's tags, with categorized content there's a good chance for out posts to get mentioned by others as a series and bring lots of traffic to our blog when we send the link to others, the ease of use it brings will make sure we wouldn't have to list tens and hundreds of posts to send when somebody asks us for out work on a specific topic.
We can go over the downsides of it but other than a user creating a folder for each post (not sure if that's a downside) I can't come with anything. but I'm keen to hear everybody's opinion and talk about every aspect of it.
Having blogs will enable us to add the possibility to follow only a specific blog of a user and see only the posts that interests us from that user but that have to wait till the blogs become a reality.
