Hello steemit community. Help me decide how to spend some steem!!!! Your opinion matters to me
Hello steemit friends, I am writing this post because I am having a hard time deciding what to purchase with my steem funds. I have allocated enough steem to commit to a major purchase. I feel it is essential to upgrade your art materials with money earned from your art & steemit has provided that opportunity for me.

I am an artist & I practice many arts. I have been practicing art since I was 7 yrs old & am now 38. Art to me is very relaxing and can lower my stress and anxiety levels. You see the thing is is that ever since I was young I have had bad anxiety & art has made it much easier to get through hard times that most of us fall victim to at times.

I turned art into a career at the age of 18 when I became a professional Tattoo Artist. I love tattooing, it has brought me much joy. I have met so many great people & heard so many interesting stories but I have a ruptured disk in my back & also I have chronic rib issues that leave me in a fair amount of pain most days.

I have been on the steemit platform for about 1 year & steemit has helped me in many ways. It has helped me communicate, share & appreciate more. I have made many friends & read many articles that have provided me with much useful information.

I would like to become a full time steemit blogger & feel I am on my way. This is a great thing that I feel will help me with my pain levels. My chronic pain issues make it very difficult to maintain a steady income from my career of tattooing. I have already been able to take some time off which has helped a lot with my back health. Thanks for that steemit friends, it's all thanks to the community & that means you, Yes You! Thank You All So Much!

I would like to keep giving back to the community by continuing to share my arts with the community. One way I am going to keep things fresh is by purchasing some art equipment with my steem holdings.

Not saying you should go for the lens, but if you do, I would recommend getting a second hand one. I purchase all my lenses second hand now, it saves a lot of money.
Thanks for the feedback. Looks like the drawing pad is winning by a landslide though. Either way I will be very happy with either product. Second hand is a great idea :D
I think the camera and here is why. If you get the camera lens you will be able to release some great photos really quickly, those photos will earn you more money. Then use that money and get the drawing pad, it takes longer to create paintings than photos (for most anyway). And that way you have both...might take an extra month or two. Cheers

It's really a nice tool
Only you can really decide, but I would go with the Cintiq. I have the same one myself, which I use for illustration and a lot of comic work. I really enjoy using it, you won't be disappointed. I have my eyes on getting an iPad Pro though. Portability means never needing a traditional sketch book again which is appealing.
