My name is Kid Darko a.k.a. Johnny Darko. I am an Artist who creates and posts content here on steemit.com and I would like to take a few minutes to reflect on my past month on steemit. When I started the month of September I didn't know what to expect for progress, I did however have some goals in mind that I wanted to achieve.

Reputation
I started out with a reputation of 54.6 on September 2nd. I set my goal at 60 reputation. Reputation is a slow climb so I thought a goal of 60 was a tough but achievable goal. I'm proud to say I finished off with a reputation of 61.0 on October 2nd.

Followers
I started out with 28 followers on September the 2nd. I set my goal at 100 followers. I am proud to say that today on October 2nd I met my follower goal with 102 followers.

Steem Power
I started off on September 2nd with 252.5 steem power. I set my goal at 1000 steem power. This was the goal that I felt was the most challenging. I had a hard time factoring a number based on past posts because the payouts were very random. So I thought heck I'll just set a goal for 1000 and see how it goes. I'm proud to say that on October 2nd I finished off with 1001.6 steem power.

I have always had a hard time parting with my personal art. I have actually never sold a piece of my personal art. Recently I made a post showcasing my first acrylic painting( https://steemit.com/art/@kiddarko/painting-collection-my-very-first-acrylic-painting-super-mario-on-shrooms ).
A well known whale @berniesanders had made a comment offering to purchase the painting at a very generous price. At first I wasn't willing to sell it, it just holds a lot of meaning to me personally. After some serious thought I decided to make a counter offer, we came to an agreement and I sold him the painting. I count this as a great personal goal. I really need to start letting go of my personal art to help influence me to produce more art daily.

Congratulations. The Power of Goals! Well done. Was the set goals equal to your wishes about your steemit achievement in September ?
When you say "steemit achievement" are you referring to the selling of my painting? If so I would have to say I am even more excited about my steemit goals. It takes a lot of work to make gains on steemit. Art I have been doing my entire life and have a bit more confidence in. I am also gaining more confidence in my steemit account daily and I am excited to see if I can meet these new goals bye November 2nd.
