The Diary Game || 11- 03- 2025 || Sharing The Good News Of God To My Neighborhood, Cutting My Hair And Haunting My Daily Hustle

Dear diary.

It was a field service or ministry day in my congregation. I actually woke up in my work place early that morning as I work overnight the past day just as my boss instructed, that took my chance of sleeping early as planned but I got no choice.

As the day gradually grows, my interest in attending the field service decreases due to heavy sleep in my eyes. I already planned to cut my hair in this same day but according to my record; I was supposed to focus on cutting my hair after returning from field service, it was kinda complicated but deep down, there was a part of me that didn't want to be missed out so I had to hold on to that.

It was 9 o'clock AM when I finally took the bold decision to attend field service. After I refreshed myself and consumed my breakfast, I dressed up and departed. I knew I wouldn't meet up with others in the kingdom hall so I quickly dialed a friend of mine number and asked for the appointed territory, I continued my journey after receiving the details of the territory.

As I approached the territory, I noticed few environments so I decided to join the two sisters I saw. I immediately approached two young guys, one was interesting while the other used an excuse to escape and I just let go of him.

This guy despite being interested in the good news, he doesn't know the name of God and that marvels me cause I actually didn't expect it. Well I quickly took him to Psalm 83:18 which directly mentioned God's name, Jehovah. I saw his interest in knowing more so I created a chance for a return visit and went out to meet with others as they were waiting for us.

Here was where I finally meet the whole congregation that came out for the day, we waited untill everyone came out and I was paired with a new brother ifiok that came immediately after me. It was quite unfortunate that we walked around the second path of the territory without seeing some house keepers in their home, the few we saw wasn't available according to them.

The next territory was just the next street from left and we approached immediately everyone came out, this time we spent just 30 minutes or less to covered the territory. Maybe we would've spent more minutes or better still hour of we did found people in their residential home. We saw a space that shedded the sun and we all decided to confide and wait for everyone before return visit and Bible study was organized.

The sun was at its peak, keeping us in a suspense as it was very hot. We all stayed until the intensity reduces such that doesn't affect the skin, I and my partner departed for a Bible study in the same territory but couldn't find any, the same thing occurred to other places and I decided to close for the day. On my way, I bought three rolls of bun to satisfy my tummy as I approached home.

After considered my lunch meal, I took to rest and slept as it disturbed my peace. I spent a whole three hours in bed and guess what, I was totally relieved the moment I woke up. Per my planned for the day, cutting my hair was one of the vital thing I wanted to get done and time was heating up, without hesitation I dressed up and went to a barbing saloon.

The Barbing saloon that I intended to go was a distance away from my house, I spent 200 naira transport to the location. It's not as if they're no close saloon where I can cut my hair; I just preferred to cut my hair in somewhere I won't have to stress myself advising a barber on how to cut or line my hair and most saloon don't have a complete tools like dye to blacken someone's hair, so I like a place that have kept everything in place.

My hair was actually growing big and scattered, requiring a better cared. The barber after turning on his generator; plugged his clipper and started to work, trimmed my hair from side to the upper head and later line to give it a better outlook. Would you prefer the first picture over the second one? I doubt no one would do that as I won't too.

Per my option, the barber applied dye to the hair after the barbing to darken the hair, it was actually changing it's original colour which makes it indecent to the eye, now after the whole dye process my hair became dark and appealing, making the line to becomes more visible.

It was 5 o'clock AM when I finished my business in the barbing shop and departed home, it happened a big rain fall such that floods the roadside and as a result, people who trek wasn't able to continued their journey instead they look for a shedded space to covered themselves.

The effect didn't reach my side cause I was inside a vehicle but it later came to my end as I dropped from the vehicle, I had to find a shedded space to escape the rain just like the trekkers did. If you were inside a vehicle and your journey came to an end, you had to run after paying your transport fee as to avoid being watered.

One major negative effect of rainfall in Nigeria is that it flood the road mostly especially the local roads in the street, high flow of flood makes the road mouldy which makes it complicated to walk and if care Isn't doesn't take into consideration, you slipped and fall down.

Most road are carved with holes which can obstruct someone in the night if work without a light. I was supposed to go work on the evening after I returned from the barbing shop but again I was sleepy so I decided to give it on before going to work. Unfortunately I overslept and woke up late but still in stayed back because my absent would've affected the few workers due to the fact that most workers aren't coming.

This was how I meet my coworkers in the company, the newly produced waters were abandoned just in front of the production room without anyone to stacked them. I opted out to stacked the waters in the a available space, repackage the leakages and hold on until closing hour.

After the closing time, I departed home and took a bathe to calm my nerve. I'm trying to discipline my eating habits to keep my abs improved so I refuse to eat but used the opportunity to engage on social media and steemit as well. My day wasn't much interesting but I had it and it was fulfilled.
