After a much needed vocal rest period, I have returned with the beautiful song "Someday" from The Hunchback of Notre Dame. I turned it into a lovely, cohesive solo, since it was once a duet between the gypsy, Esmeralda, and Phoebus.

In this song, Esmeralda prays that a kinder, gentler world will emerge sooner, rather than later, even though she knows her fate is already sealed and she may not be permitted to live much longer. She will be put to death if she does not accept the evil Archbishop, Frollo.

You might even realize (much like I did...) that this song is very reminiscent of our current worldly problems. I play for this type of world as well.
