Today has been my last day of work here in Queensland Australia, it was short day at work but still a good one.

I think i have said before this would have to be my fzvorite worksite to visit ue to the people that work there, so friendly and lots of Kiwi's work there as well.

Plus the Gold Coast is my favorite spot to visit in Australia so it really is a holiday first with some work chucked in.

Spent my last day lying ion the sun loungers by the pool before i had a lovely swim to cool off in the pool.

I have also done all of my laundry and folded it nicely, its good t be able to go home with clothes clean so i can just put them away when i get home.

Today is also the last day i get to grab anything the Family like, all of this stuff is not available in New Zealand so why not.

Everyone loves the Pods and these were on special for $5 AUS, actually i did see these again in NZ but they were $10 a bag!

When i was packing for this trip i packed very very lightly as i wouldn't need any warm clothing at all, plus having a washing machine in my room meant i could wash my clothes daily if i chose too.

My plan also included being able to fit all of my clothes/laptop's etc into my backpack, this would leave my small suitcase just for stuff i brought.

I am pretty much all packed and ready to go and have brought everything i wanted, now i just chill out and wait until tomorrow morning when i drive an hour's north to Brisbane Airport - then its back to Wellington.

This Kiwi hopes you have enjoyed seeing a bit of the Gold Coast while i have been here.
