Happy New year to the people that follow and support me here on Steemit, we had a pretty quiet New Years just hanging around home and having a quiet drink or 5.

This morning i slept in till 7am which is late-ish for me, after some coffee i decided to go for a 30 minute walk.

Then i spent the rest of the morning water blasting my driveway and footpath out the front, the concrete didn't look that dirty but once i started the dirt just lifted off.

With the year ending i can now see how we did for the year with our Solar home system, in 2024 we were 60% self powered and in 2025 we managed to be 56% self powered.

This afternoon i thought i would have a nana nap but i couldn't get to sleep, so i decided to go for a ride instead.

I rode 35K in blustery sunny conditions with some rain setting in on the last 20 odd minutes.
