Assalam o Alaikum Steemians!

This is koh e noor. I am fine with the grace of ALLAH Almighty. I hope you are also enjoying the blesses life. After many days, today weather is quite good. It was getting very hot from many days and it feels a lot in Ramadan.
Today I am going to post my achievement 3 after successful first two achievements. This achievement / task is very important for beginners. I am also a beginner.

So what is plagiarism? I am going to talk about content etiquette. About plagiarism, our understanding and knowledge should be broad. Plagiarism is passing something without any permission of owner. Plagiarism is taking a book, story, article writing or blog property of someone else without the permission. This is not good doing with owners. Plagiarism is academic theft.

Plagiarism may be happen unintentionally or knowingly. In this case the owner or author has the power to take legal action. Plagiarism can be prevented by getting a understanding of it. The original thing is created by us. When we take anything, we should pay honour and respect to owner. It is best to do that. We should follow the rules to stop this academic theft.

Ways to avoid Plagiarism

Plagiarism can be avoid by following rules. If we would not follow rules, we would not be able to earn. So be original and don't plagiarise anything property of some one else.
Anything should not be copyright. If you are sharing images from social media then you must share link of that image.

Rules to avoid Plagiarism

1-In case, when you use quote as a reference then mention the name of author.
2-Must mention the link on the website where you are quoting.

Way of text citation :
We use citation when we quote words of some one else or copy text from any site.
In order to show text citation, we put this symbol ">" before text and then it will show text citation. For example :

Plagiarism is copying something without crediting the source.

I hope I have explained every point related to plagiarism and ways to avoid it. I have learnt all rules regarding steem it community and will follow them.I have read and understood the Steemit Etiquette on Steemit Community and will do my best to embrace them.
