First and foremost you shoot in RAW, now RAW makes editing easy for the photographer, it gives a more broader range at which you can go into manipulating your photograph to a satisfactory amount..
Shooting RAW helps with your High and Low light reduction to a perfect amount that looks like it was never there, it helps in extensive increase of colors to the beautification of that photograph.
