Before the world began, Jesus has been in glory and oneness with the Father, and he wished that we all that believe in him should behold his glory.

His glory is one thing that when a man behold, he lost taste of this world, my previous post pointed at the transfiguration and how Peter was overwhelmed by the glory of Christ Jesus that he forgot his family and everything about this life, he wished not to come back to human confinement.

The glory of God is everything that we need.

John 17:23-24

I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
