A call with purpose
Without exception of people, God chooses:
A man... a woman, to serve him.
Before you formed yourself in the womb, I knew you and before you left the mother, I sanctified you and the nations I gave you as a prophet. Jeremiah 1: 5
The reading friends, when we read this first chapter, we realize (verse 5), that Jeremiah was a man prepared and that he filled the place perfectly as sent to the nations, for those who are responsible for the Lord's will.
Jeremiah was a native, a resident of a village north of Jerusalem, capital of the Southern Kingdom. He lived and prophesied during the reigns of the last five kings of Judah, a chaotic time: in political, moral and spiritual terms.
He was very young when the mission was fulfilled: to announce the Eternal judgment, a people obsessed and rebellious, who refused to listen to the direction of God. When he saw God's affliction, before speaking to the people, he answered the questions that concern him.
Beloved ones, when God calls someone, to use in his "vineyard", the process has already started after a long time. This is how God responded to Jeremiah:
DO NOT WORRY: "Before you formed in the womb, I knew you: and before you left the mother, I sanctified you and the nations I gave you as a prophet.
This example will not happen today? When God tells us that it has been the answer we have had: when He lifts us up, trains and responds?
"Go around the world and predict, teach, my Gospel." Love one another as I have loved you. "
What's wrong, are we afraid to move forward?
All Christians, like Jeremiah, receive an invitation, where all the benefits are included, but our obligations are derived as well. It is evident that its fulfillment depends on our obedience.
God answered Jeremiah in a very concrete way, His book was in the Bible so we can make decisions that lead us to success:
Before training in the womb, he prepared himself.
This statement, whose am I?
The world has laws, but God has its laws. He made it clear:
"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor your ways, my ways, saith the Lord: for as the heavens are higher than the earth, which are my ways higher than your ways, my thoughts higher than yours" Thoughts. Isaiah 55: 8-9.
Our birth is not the result of chance, and it can be a deliberate act of God.
Therefore, dear ones, we can not ignore that we are a masterpiece of your hands, and only so that like the psalmist David, we can raise our voice, with all our heart, and cry out for our recognition:
"I will praise you, your works are wonderful, and my soul knows it very well". Psalm 139: 14
I met you.
This is an answer for someone who is sad: who cares about me, for example? Keep in mind that God was not left alone because of our creation. He cares and knows our possibilities and limitations, but also our weaknesses. But he has nothing to do with us to make us participate in His plan.
The apostle Paul was well aware of his statement:
"But when he came to God, who separated me from my mother's womb and called me by his grace, I revealed his Son in me, for the prediction among the Gentiles, I consulted neither flesh nor blood." Galatians 1:15.
I sanctified you.
A sublime answer to our persistent questions: who will train me?
Well, God, Sovereignly we have created and destined his work, He also tells us to privilege ourselves now in a personalized formation so that we feel ourselves to be useful.
The Bible lets us know, at what point, periods of formation have been given to men: in different projects and tasks! We recognize ministries like José, Moisés, David, etc ...
It has been established, I have given you as a prophet to the nations.
This is an important answer to the doubtful. "Who will sustain me?
Beloved, when God entrusts us with a job, he thinks that He will leave us alone in front of the trials? Of course not.
The example of Jeremiah shows us that the Eternal God is always the bookseller of the great dangers that he has faced because of the wickedness of men. Will not He also act, in the same way for us? He did not change.
Beloved ones, how secure it is, and the peace that goes in our heart is the evidence, knowing that God loves us. He always has a possible way out for our doubts.
Why seek, to pass by the side of others here on earth, when we reach heaven our name does not figure in the Book of Life?
I wish everyone a day filled with the presence of God.
Good message Sister Kristal01, it is wonderful to know that, even before a person is born, he can already be called for a divine ministry.
