The Power of the Gospel

Happy weekend for all the Christians of Steem.

A manager of a bank. He lived in a state of sin because being married, he keeps other women in his life, playing every night and always monotonous when he is at home. His wife, follower of the way of Christ, for which she has the patience of her husband, is accompanied by his acts of mercy to serve the poor in his parish.

One night, the manager and his wife held a party with their relatives. But he had a headache, so he stayed home because he wanted to sleep early.

During his advance, he was awakened by loud thunder and a little light. The rays of light, often pointed to a book in his closet full of books he bought, when he went through the bookstores. He analyzed what the books were lined up for. He saw that the Bible was the source of light in the light. So he took it off and cut it, then he also just read the words of Romans: 5: 8-11.

"But God has shown us the degree of his love for us, because we are still sinners, Christ died for us ..." I did not know what I was feeling; his evil life He did not know what he was doing on his knees before the crucifix of his room and wept at the impulses of God's forgiveness. His new wife arrived, surprised to see her husband kneeling and crying. Since then, his life and his family have changed.

How powerful is the Gospel the very essence of our Gospel today. The gospel is the power of God's salvation. When it is announced to the people, it will be our salvation and defeat. Salvation is listening, accepting and following the call to change life and follow what you ask for. But if you do not hear it, do not neglect what it teaches.

In other words, the Gospel provides the power to ask for forgiveness to open our hearts to the divine power of the Holy Spirit. So we have a choice ... respond and do, or be enthusiastic about the call contained in the Gospel.

Because I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
