Stupid First Lucid Dream

I just wanted to share my first ever lucid dream... so dumb it was funny.

So in real life, I had to leave work early one day to be home for when FedEx was delivering a very important package. I get home, and there is no notice, so SWEET, I didn't miss them. Start getting bored of waiting, I decided to take a nap and wait for the knock on my door.

Well, I "wake up" in my bed, and go to check the front porch and see whats going on. "Where is this dude?"

My front porch is SWARMING with packages. Like 30 boxes of all different sizes, and I'm like "WTF!" Go out there and start opening them up, but I'm getting frustrated cause its all dumb shit, so I think to myself "Man, I need a hit off my bowl..." This is a dream btw, everything makes perfect sense lol. But in real life I'm out, and I know this. So I peep out the stash box anyway. Well shit!, there's a fat Bag O' Bud in there! Go to reach in, and can't feel anything. ??

But wait, there IS something in here... /shuffles... A magazine? Oh thanks dream, a High Times magazine with a PICTURE of a fat sack O' green on the front! FFFFFUUUUUUHHHHHHHH*******. Thats when I realized I was in a dream, and came in control my actions consciously.

Of course, if you know about lucid dreaming, the first few times you do it, are usually on accident, and don't last but a few seconds once you realize that isn't real life. And that's exactly what happened. The realization kicked in, I was like "Hell Yeah!" and boom... Gone.

So yeah, a spit in the face. All I wanted was my package and a gnarly bowl of ganja, but NOOOO! Had to tease me.

Stupid story, but it's led to SOOOO many longer, better, and deeper lucid experiences. I'm thankful for that beginner's tease of a lucid dream, but damn. COME ON!
