New Job - Good Vibes Accepted Here

in #life7 years ago (edited)

Likely my shortest post ever on STEEMIT... I start a new job today and would love some positive vibes from the community.

Hopefully this will pass thru a few feeds of watching eyes and I'll get some positive vibes for my first day of work at a new job after being jobless for months...

My daughter loves Gizmo :)

@manudada - This post did turn out to be nice for me - Thanks for the positive vibes

Thank you so much to all who took the time to read this short post, send some positive vibes my way - I literally felt the love as my first day went perfect...

Great bunch of employees, great spirit in the building, some great eye candy even tho I learned long ago to never mix biz & pleasure at work, and plenty of potential new STEEMIT member recruits once I settle in more...

Nothing beats the look of a person when they first click on the STEEMIT website - especially now with the word "MONEY" dead center that undoubtedly draws anyone's eyes to it and automatically gets them to read further and their eyes open up further..

Much love to you all again! $.27 may not seem like a big payout to most but after taking time off and coming back to Steemit my posts have been averaging $.03-.04 - so I'm very grateful!
All in due time..

Namaste

@krytonika - the first week and the last week of a job are what I call the 'honeymoon' periods. Hope you had a good first week :)

Hey @plushzilla

I never looked at a new job like that before... Very interesting and I think you are dead on!!

I actually had a great first week.. Lots of training info to process but I have a good feeling about the company - 99% of the time my gut is correct - the other 1% usually attributed to some bad take out food :)

@krytonika - I work in IT and most of the time I would be lucky to get access to a company laptop in the first week (the lack of having to worry about getting work done is what makes it seem like a honeymoon). As a contractor I get very used to the same training information and workplace health & safety talks so sometimes I also unknowingly tune out and daydream a little bit (again not that different to a honeymoon). People also seem to treat the last week on the job like a death sentence, but I prefer to think of it as an opportunity to start something new and exciting :)

Awesome explanation of your take on the HONEYMOON STAFE - I think it's post worthy and think a bunch of ppl would love reading about it because it's honest, funny and truthful - just an idea for ya..

Disclaimer: Not responsible for the 7 day payout - however if it hits $100 10% would be nice ;)

@krytonika - I'd love to make a post about it except I haven't got much else to add to it :p I don't think any of my previous posts have hit $10 let alone $100 :D
